Day 1 - Arrive in Bangkok, Thailand

Arrive into the city of angels, Bangkok, Thailand. As you depart the aircraft you will be greeted by our team who will assist you through the airport with expedited passport procedures, and any luggage when needed. At the exit hall, your driver will be waiting for you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure. The remainder of the day is free to settle into your new surroundings.

Day 2 - Bangkok by Boat

Bangkok, often referred to as the Venice of the East, boasts a network of waterways known as the Klongs. In the past, before the era of motor vehicles, these canals served as the primary mode of transportation for locals, shaping the city's identity both historically and presently.

This morning, you'll be transferred by private vehicle to the Klongs, a journey of approximately one hour. Upon arrival, you'll meet your private guide and board a traditional wooden long-tail boat. Navigate through the waterways, passing canal-side communities. Today's itinerary includes visits to landmarks such as the Grand Palace, Wat Saket, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun.

Day 3 - Secrets of Bangkok

Free morning and afternoon to explore the city at your leisure.

In the evening head off to your Street-Food Tour with your guide. Your first stop is Chinatown, an authentic district in Bangkok where time appears to have frozen. The streets here are lined with incredible food stalls and charcoal stoves full of mouth-watering foods. Stroll through Pak Khlong Talat, one of the world's largest flower markets, and you're sure to be captivated by the kaleidoscope of smells and colours from the millions of flowers and vegetables for sale here.

Next, hop on a Tuk Tuk to explore the alleys and streets of Bangkok at night. Pass by the Metal Castle, Democracy Monument, Marble Temple, and Giant Swing, enjoying the evening breeze along the way. Experience the magical ambiance of Wat Pho at night, taking in the beautifully lit pagodas and stupas. Before heading back to your hotel, enjoy a drink at a rooftop bar, soaking in the mesmerising skyline of the Thai capital.

Day 4 - Bangkok - Chiang Mai

We collect you from the hotel at the pre-arranged time as you bid farewell to Bangkok.  Your driver will drop you off aT the domestic terminal for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, your driver will be waiting for you at the exit hall where you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to settle into your new surroundings.

Day 5 - Chiang Mai

Head out into the hills with your guide and driver for a one-day private trip unlike anything else in Thailand. Explore remote Temples and viewpoints, travel through tiny rural farming communities, meet and learn about wonderful elephants and float gently downstream through the forest on bamboo rafts. This day really has got the lot and you'll still be back into Chiang Mai city in time for a sundowner and to explore the night markets!

Day 6 - Chiang Mai

Today we head south 20 minutes out of Chiang Mai city to Bandoo in Hang Dong district. The house you will be visiting has been in the Raunkaew-Yanon family for almost 150 years. This is a real home,where you cook in a traditional Lanna kitchen in a real Thai neighbourhood. Spend the day with your 'Thai family and discover the architecture of a traditional Thai house and rice barn. Your Thai family will also demonstrate their garden to basket methods, something many are trying to replicate to be more sustainable, but here it is the way of life. See the family's orchids and select fresh ingredients for today's cooking extravaganza.

Learn how to cook traditional home cooked recipes with authentic Northern Thai flavours that are different from standard dishes offered in commercial cooking classes. Perhaps best of all, you shall have spent the day with a genuine Thai family, learning the ways of their life and making friends in a truly special environment. Enjoy the fruits of your labour with a delicious home cooked meal with an authentic Chiang Mai family.

Day 7 - Chiang Mai - Phuket

At a prearranged time, your driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you back to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to Phuket. Arrive at Phuket Airport, your driver will meet you at the exit hall and escort you to your hotel. Once checked-in the remainder of the day is free to settle into your new surroundings.
