Day 1 - Arrive in Singapore

Upon your arrival at Changi Airport in Singapore, after going through immigration/custom formalities and collecting your luggage, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver at the exit hall (holding placard with your names at the door immediate after baggage collection and clearance) and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free to settle into your new surroundings.

Day 2-3 - Singapore

Day 4 - Singapore - Phuket

At the appropriate time, your driver will pick you up at your hotel and escort you to the airport for your flight to Phuket.

Upon your arrival at Phuket Airport, after going through immigration procedures and collecting your luggage, you will be met and welcomed by your driver at the exit hall (holding a sign with your name), and transferred directly to your hotel. Once checked-in, the remainder fo the day is free to settle into your new surroundings.

Day 5 - Phuket

Meet Patcharin (Pat) - Pat learned to cook from her family and has been teaching cooking classes from her home for a couple of decades now. She was born in Bangkok and lived in California for eight years, where she worked at a Thai restaurant. She then moved back to Thailand, to Phuket, where she married her husband and started teaching Thai cooking classes in her traditional Thai garden house.

What to expect - In-home meal: Pat will welcome you into her traditional Thai home with a warm smile. Her house is very conveniently located near the city and the beach. It is colourful and beautifully decorated with family photos, plants, ceramics and a koi fish pond. While you sip on your homemade lemongrass tea, Pat will share cooking stories and inform you about Thai culinary traditions. Later you will join her at the dining table for an authentic Southern Thai everyday meal that may include dishes such as yum puk (her signature salad made with white fern or asparagus, prawns and chicken), spring rolls and tom kha kai (Thai coconut soup). Your meal will end with a sweet dessert like kluai buat chi (banana in coconut milk).

Cooking experience: Your cooking class takes place outside Pat’s home, where long counters are set up for a hands-on cooking experience. During the two hour class, you will learn to make a Thai appetizer, entree and dessert along with Pat. Pat explains in detail about Thai ingredients and how each dish is made. After she shows you what to do, she will let you prepare the rest of the dish. After cooking three dishes, you will move inside the house and join Pat at the dining table to enjoy your creations. She will also give you printed copies of her recipes so you can recreate these dishes back home!

Market visit: There is a semi-permanent market just a block away from Pat’s house called Talad Nud Tahon Khaung. After meeting her at home she will walk you to this market. If the market is closed on the day you visit, Pat will drive you to another nearby local market. The market tour is fun and educational - Pat will introduce you to many new fruits and vegetables and you may also purchase a few ingredients for your cooking class, if you have booked one.

Day 6 - Phuket

Enjoy an early morning tour of Phang Nga Bay before the crowds arrive. Enjoy the iconic Karst rock formations, mangroves and caves of this unique section of the Thailand coast. Visit James Bond island before the crowds arrive and witness the famous Karst scenery as seen in the movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun'. Stop at Lod Nai Cave and the private canoe station. Enjoy being paddled through the mangroves and the cave. After canoeing, visit Koh Panak and explore the many caves by foot and learn about the ecology of this area. Next visit the famous floating village of Panyee. Enjoy a private lunch at peaceful Yao Yai island surrounded by coconut trees. Finally enjoy a swim at Kudu Island or Nok Island before transferring back to your resort.

Day 7 - Phuket

Day 8 - Phuket - Khao Sok

This morning at your hotel, you will be met by Elephant Hills' representative and transferred to Elephant Hills Camp in Khao Sok.

1st Days Activities: The Amazing Elephant Experience.

Elephant Hills Elephant Experience: Feeding and interacting with Asia’s largest land animal. A really touching experience in an almost untouched environment.

Canoe Safari down the Sok River. Sit back and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Khao Sok.

Evening Activities: movie presentation, dance performances and cooking demonstration.

Day 9 - Khao Sok

2nd Days Activities: Spectacular Cheow Larn Lake.

Visit a local market in Takhun to experience Thailand’s rural lifestyle.

Boat Trip. Sightseeing in a traditional longtail boat on Cheow Larn Lake.

Lunch at the Rainforest Camp. Canoes are available to explore the spectacular surrounding.

Jungle trekking on foot through southern Thailand’s unique Rainforest environment.

Overnight at the Rainforest Camp.

Day 10 - Khao Sok - Koh Samui

3rd Days Activities: Flora and Fauna in the Fabulous Forest.

Guided canoe safari and Wildlife spotting.

Lunch at the Rainforest Camp and chance to swim before your transfer to Donsak pier ready for your ferry journey to Koh Samui.

Upon arrival at Koh Samui pier, your driver will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Once checked-in the remainder of the day is free to settle into your new surroundings.
